Arrival in Muscat and welcome to Oman!
Upon Arrival, you will be transferred to the Hotel. Check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure

Nizwa was once the capital of the Sultanate. As a center of trade, religion, art and education, Nizwa is one of the oldest cities in Oman. Visit the traditional souq of Nizwa, the oldest fort of Oman in Bahla and the beautiful castle of Jabreen, before return to the hotel.

Full day Muscat city tour. Visit the grand mosque, a religious landmark of Muscat. Take part of the guided tour at the Opera House. Stroll around the old city quarter and have a photo-stop at the Qasr Al Alam, the official Palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum. Witness Muttrah souq as one of the most beautiful oriental markets in the Gulf States. Stroll along the Corniche to admire the beautiful merchant houses and experience the shopping in the busy souk.

Drive to the famous Wadi Shab, and walk into the spectacular Wadi Canyon along steep cliffs, rocks, pools and fruit plantations. Enjoy the scenery and serenity of the place. Witness the natural Sinkhole at Bimmah Lake Park and admire the surrounding before you return to Muscat.

Drive to the airport for the domestic flight to the southern capital of Oman; Salalah.
Visit the highlights of Salalah city. This tour included Salalah’s well-known banana and coconut plantations, The Frankincense Land Museum, the traditional Souq filled with frankincense products and the majestic Sultan Qaboos grand mosque.

Start an overnight tour in the afternoon to the Rub Al Khali Desert by Jeep. It is an exciting desert trip with one overnight stay at a camp in the middle of the desert. Visit the ‘Lost City of Ubar’ (UNESCO) en route. Enjoy a stunning sunset over the picturesque sand dunes. Enjoy an unforgettable night in the desert.

Drive back to Salalah. On the way back, drive into Wadi ‘Dawka’ (UNESCO) known as the ‘Frankincense Wadi’. You will enjoy the countryside before you return to the hotel before afternoon.
Rest of the day is at leisure

The excursion begins with a visit to the old fishing village of ‘Taqa’. Visit the century old ‘Taqa Castle’. Continue onto the ancient ruins of the once famous city of Sumharam (Khor Rohri -UNESCO World Heritage site). A picturesque drive then leads you to ‘Mirbat’, the ancient capital of Dhofar and the beginning of the ‘Frankincense trail’. Visit the ‘twin-domed Bin Ali’s Tomb’ as a photo stop. Proceed to the beach of Mughsail and admire the natural ‘Blow Holes’. Continue along the ‘Hair-pin-bend’ road towards West to see the historical ‘Frankincense trees’ growing in their natural habitat, deep down in the valleys.
